Christopher is a promising young conductor who represents the next generation of musicians in Korea. He majored both in orchestral conducting and in choral conducting at the University Mozarteum Salzburg in the classes of Dennis Russell Davies and Walter Hagen-Groll. He received a Master's degree in Arts with the highest honors and finished a post-graduate study and a doctoral course with an Austrian state scholarship. During his studies at the Mozarteum, he appeared as guest conductor with the Nurnberger Symphoniker, Goettinger Symphony Orchester, Vratza Symphony Orchestra and Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition, he was given the honour to conduct for the opening performance of the official festival celebrating Mozart's 250th birthday in Salzburg in 2006. |
